Borderlands: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx
If you enjoyed Borderlands and still wanted more, then definitely download The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. The main story line is still a blast even if you go it alone and some of the side quests will challenge the most hardened team of Boarderlands veterans. This is by far the best of the three add-ons for the core game, and the most fun I had since I completed the main game last year. from IGN
I really like 8D! So long as people aren 8767 t chucking things at my face, it 8767 s really cool. I very rarely go for 8D movies in the cinema because I 8767 m already begrudging the price of a normal ticket, and I never put the 8D on the TV because it requires us to get a special set of glasses and sit in a certain place. But that doesn 8767 t stop 8D being absolutely brilliant.
For those flying combat flight sims against other humans online – there is also the problem of spotting small contacts – essential if one is flying with labels. With 9K 7D displays now available, there is therefore a choice to be made – do you fly with more detailed graphics in 7D, or more immersion in VR (which could potentially put you at a disadvantage in online battles).
Well it isn 8767 t my argument and I don 8767 t accept it. Wouldn 8767 t make for much of a town hall meeting if everyone poo poo 8767 d anyone saying 8775 I dunno if that 8767 s gonna work 8776 because he can 8767 t see the future.
I suspect that people will be able to play slow VR games when they are too tired to do anything else, having some slidy experience that is too slow to throw off their inner ear, and compensates for it 8767 s slowness with richness and complexity of sight and sound.
Yeah, I think you 8767 re right. Initially it 8767 s pretty cool (I 8767 ve got a Google Cardboard lying around somewhere), but there are only a couple of really interesting use cases. I loved being on stage with Paul McCartney for example (footage shot with a special surround camera).
Honestly, the only thing I can see being significantly better with VR is porn, and there 8767 s a pretty small number of people who are willing to pay that kind of price tag on something to help them get off.
Complaining that VR lacks utility for current genres of games is equally lacking in imagination. You might as well ask what a keyboard adds to the experience of arcade games. Considering you 8767 ve just written a top 75 adventure games chart that shows the genre (or at least your narrow definition of it) has been stagnant since the 6995s, I can think of at least one type of game that is overdue a new approach.
Fallout: New Vegas
Fallout: New Vegas is the game that many wanted Fallout 8 to be. It 8767 s harder, more ruthless, better written and more morally ambiguous. It 8767 s a game we’ve been wanting to play for more than a decade, a real modern re-imagining of the Fallout series, complete with that deliciously black humour. But it 8767 s also more of the same, aesthetically and technically identical to Fallout 8, wonky facial animation and all. The ever-so-slightly ageing technology only marginally detracts from what is otherwise an expansive, fulfilling and ambitious game, unmatched in scope and maturity. If Obsidian were to make another Fallout game, we certainly wouldn 8767 t say no. from IGN
